Meet the Founder - Jodi Roth-Saks, M.A.
Jodi earned her BA from Colorado State University and MA with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs from University of Connecticut. As a student affairs practitioner with over 20 years of experience, Jodi understands the importance of internal motivation, boosting self-esteem, and building lifelong executive functioning skills.
She specializes in coaching high school seniors, first year students, college students, gap year & emerging adults, as well as early career professionals. Jodi served as the Director of Service-Learning and Volunteer Programs at a four-year state school, launched one of the first college food pantries in the country, and has previously taught First Year Experience (FYE), Senior Year Experience, and a Community Service Learning Community FYE. In addition to her student affairs background, Jodi has expertise in non-profit management. She spent the last five years serving as the Executive Director of a large hunger relief organization in Greater Philadelphia. While serving in this role she continued to mentor and coach students and young professionals struggling with planning, organization, and managing their time effectively. After coaching for several executive function practices, she decided to launch CollegeEQ. When Jodi’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and exploring national parks.
